Amy C. Hargrett 
Chief Financial Officer 
Office of Administration 

Amy Hargrett, Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for managing the PCAOB’s budgetary and financial operations. 

Prior to joining the PCAOB in November 2013, Ms. Hargrett served as Associate Chief Accountant in the Office of the Chief Accountant of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.  During her service with the SEC, Ms. Hargrett focused on a wide range of matters that impact financial reporting, with emphasis on auditing standards and audit quality initiatives.  

Before joining the SEC, Ms. Hargrett was a senior manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.  She has experience planning, executing, and managing audits of publicly traded and privately held companies in the financial services, real estate, and manufacturing industries.    

Ms. Hargrett is a certified public accountant in Maryland.  She earned a B.S. in Accounting from Florida A&M University.
