Darrell Pauley, Chief Administrative Officer, provides executive oversight to the Office of Information Technology, the Office of Human Resources, the Office of Finance, the Budget Office, and the Facilities Department.
Mr. Pauley was named to this post in 2009. He joined the PCAOB as Chief Financial Officer in March 2008, after serving more than 30 years with the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. He was an officer of the Board for most of that time, rising to Chief Financial Officer. Among his key roles at the Fed, Mr. Pauley was Deputy Director of the Management Division, which directed the Board’s internal management functions. He also led and directed activities in the areas of strategic planning, risk management, information technology, human resources, and the reengineering of business processes for greater efficiency. Mr. Pauley also directed the Fed’s effort to comply voluntarily with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
He earned a B.B.A. in Finance and Economics from Marshall University. Mr. Pauley is a certified public accountant.
