As Director of the Division of Registration and Inspections, Ms. Munter oversees the international and domestic registration and inspection programs. In 2008, Ms. Munter was named a Deputy Director in the Division. She joined the PCAOB in 2004 as the Regional Director in the San Mateo, California office.

Prior to joining the PCAOB, Ms. Munter was an Audit Partner and Deputy Director of Professional Practice in the San Francisco office of Deloitte and Touche LLP. She worked for Deloitte for 16 years, in the San Francisco and Barcelona, Spain offices.

Ms. Munter received a B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley. She is a certified public accountant, and is fluent in Spanish.
