Mr. Stewart was appointed Chief Information Officer in December 2007. He joined the PCAOB in April 2003 as Deputy Director of IT Operations, and played a key role in designing and implementing the Board’s IT infrastructure.

Prior to joining the PCAOB, he worked at MicroStrategy, Inc., a business-intelligence software company, as Senior Manager for Systems Engineering and Support, after holding various other management positions at the company. He was responsible for developing short- and long-term enterprise-wide IT strategy for multiple teams spanning the Americas, Europe and Asia.

Mr. Stewart earned his BS in economics and political science from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA.
