Marion E. Koenigs is a Deputy Director in the Division of Enforcement and Investigations. She joined the PCAOB as an Associate Director in 2004. Prior to that, she was a Managing Director in the forensic and litigation consulting practice at FTI Consulting where she advised on SEC proceedings, internal and forensic investigations and accountants’ malpractice matters. Before joining FTI, Ms. Koenigs spent seven years in the Enforcement Division of the SEC, investigating numerous financial frauds and accounting and disclosure matters.  Earlier in her career, she was an audit manager at Ernst & Young.

Ms. Koenigs earned a degree in Accounting from the State University of New York at Oswego. She is a certified public accountant and a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
