Office of Information Technology
As director of the Office of Information Technology, Nirav Kapadia leads all aspects of the PCAOB’s technology development. Previously he was deputy chief administrative officer. He joined the PCAOB in October 2011.
Prior to arriving at the PCAOB, Kapadia was vice president, Portfolio Strategy, for Fujitsu America, Inc. where he helped create a growth plan for the technology business to benefit from the emergence of cloud computing. Earlier, he was vice president, Strategic Business Planning, for Unisys Corporation where he helped lead the transformation of their outsourcing business. Early in his career, Kapadia co-founded and served as chief scientist for Cantiga Systems, Inc. which commercialized a cloud computing technology that he had helped develop.
Kapadia has an M.S. and Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from Purdue University. He is a certified information systems security professional (CISSP).
