PCAOB to Consider Proposing Auditing Standard on Communications With Audit Committees, Amendments to PCAOB Interim Standards

The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board has scheduled an Open Meeting for Monday, March 29, at 9:30 a.m., to consider a proposed auditing standard on Communications with Audit Committees, and a series of related amendments to its interim standards.

The proposal and proposed amendments would address the requirements for auditors’ communications with audit committees.

The meeting is open to the public and will take place in the PCAOB meeting room at 1666 K St. N.W., Washington, D.C. It also will be Webcast via a link on the PCAOB Web site (pcaobus.org), and available via podcast later in the day.
