Ashley Lewis

Ashley Lewis is the Deputy Director of Communications in the Office of Communications and Engagement.

In this role, she oversees the PCAOB's external communications functions. Before joining the PCAOB, Ms. Lewis served as a Senior Vice President at Edelman and Edelman Smithfield, where she advised financial institutions and corporate clients on strategic communications, reputation management, and corporate positioning.

Previously, Ms. Lewis served as Communications Director for the United States Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs and as Senior Communications Advisor to the Chair of the Export-Import Bank of the United States. Earlier in her career, she held communications roles across both the public and private sectors, with a focus on financial services, workforce policy, and international trade.

Ms. Lewis earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Media Communication and Public Relations from Michigan State University and is currently an Executive MBA candidate at the Yale School of Management.
