Danette Edwards is Special Counsel to Chairman Demetrios (Jim) Logothetis and advises him on all matters that come before the Board.

Before assuming her current role, Ms. Edwards served as Counsel in the PCAOB’s Division of Enforcement and Investigations. Previously, she was a Partner at a major international law firm, where she co-led the Securities Enforcement Practice and provided guidance on a range of matters for both public companies and private clients.

Ms. Edwards also served as Senior Counsel in the Division of Enforcement at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, where she led investigations and prosecutions of complex financial fraud. Earlier in her career, she worked as an associate for another leading law firm, focusing on investigations and white-collar defense, as well as commercial litigation.

Ms. Edwards holds a J.D., magna cum laude, from Syracuse University College of Law, and a B.A., magna cum laude, from Franklin & Marshall College. She is a member of the Order of the Coif and Phi Beta Kappa, and is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
