Dominika Taraszkiewicz is the Acting Chief Auditor at the PCAOB. In this role, she leads the activities of the Office of the Chief Auditor (OCA), manages the development of PCAOB standards, and ensures that PCAOB standards are appropriately communicated to auditors and other interested parties.
Ms. Taraszkiewicz joined the PCAOB in the Office of the Chief Auditor in 2011. Most recently, she served as Senior Associate Chief Auditor where she was responsible for managing multiple standard-setting initiatives. Since joining OCA, Ms. Taraszkiewicz has been an integral part of developing new auditing standards and amendments. She has also led various implementation activities such as developing staff guidance and other publications, webinars, and training.
Before joining the PCAOB, Ms. Taraszkiewicz spent more than 15 years in public accounting, most recently with Grant Thornton, LLP, where she completed a 3-year rotation in the Firm's national office.
Ms. Taraszkiewicz has a B.S. in accounting from University of Illinois at Chicago. She is a Certified Public Accountant in Illinois.
