Brent Han

As deputy director, business intelligence, in the Office of Research and Analysis (ORA), Brent Han, Ph.D., is responsible for overseeing the development of the PCAOB's enterprise-wide data warehouse as well as business intelligence and reporting capabilities.

Prior to joining the PCAOB in 2011, Mr. Han was the practice lead for the Modeling and Analysis Practice at MITRE Corporation, where he managed resources and provided data mining and predictive modeling solutions for such clients as the Securities and Exchange Commission, the IRS Criminal Investigation Division, and the Financial Crime Enforcement Network.

Previously, he worked at SAIC as the chief engineer/architect for the healthcare group and as an engagement manager at Deloitte Consulting where he provided data warehousing and decision analytics solutions for private sector clients. Mr. Han also was a computational physicist at IBM.

Mr. Han received a B.S. in physics, an M.S. in computational physics, and a Ph.D. in systems engineering.
