Erin Dwyer

Erin Dwyer is the deputy director of the Office of External Affairs and serves as the direct contact and stakeholder liaison to investors, audit committees, and preparers. In this role, she has an ongoing dialogue with key stakeholders of the PCAOB, assisting the Board in achieving the transparency and accessibility goals outlined in its 2018-2022 strategic plan.

Prior to joining the PCAOB in 2019, Ms. Dwyer served as managing director of stakeholder engagement and communications at the Center for Audit Quality, where she led strategic initiatives to build and strengthen relationships with key capital markets participants and governance leaders. 

Ms. Dwyer’s twenty-year career includes various investment, policy, and stakeholder outreach roles, including eight years career as a sell-side analyst on Prudential Financial’s equity research team and as a Senior Vice President of Client Development at Cooley LLP, an Am Law 100 law firm.

She earned her B.A. in Public Policy Studies from Duke University in Durham North Carolina.
