Martha Kidd

Martha Kidd is special counsel to Board Member Rebekah Goshorn Jurata, and advises her on all matters that come before the board.  

Prior to joining the PCAOB, Ms. Kidd practiced law at Williams & Connolly LLP and Covington & Burling LLP, where she litigated professional malpractice, criminal, and intellectual property matters.  Ms. Kidd also clerked for Judge T.S. Ellis, III on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

Prior to law school, Ms. Kidd worked in the Assurance Practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, auditing companies in the biotechnology and entertainment industries.

Ms. Kidd earned a B.S. from the University of Virginia, majoring in commerce and chemistry. She received a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she was a member of the Managing Board of the Virginia Law Review.  Ms. Kidd is also a Certified Public Accountant.
