Robert Maday

Robert Maday is a deputy director in the Division of Registration and Inspections. He oversees the operations of the Broker-Dealer Audit Firm Inspection Program, which conducts inspections of firms that audit the financial statements of securities brokers and dealers.

Mr. Maday is the leader of the Atlanta regional office and the South Florida and Tampa satellite offices. He also is the interim regional leader of the Charlotte office. 

Mr. Maday joined the PCAOB in 2005 as an associate director. He draws from more than 30 years' experience in public accounting and auditing and in the banking industry. Prior to joining the PCAOB, he was a partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP specializing in the securities and investment management industries. Mr. Maday also served as chief accounting officer and controller for two regional bank holding companies. He began his career as an auditor at Ernst & Ernst, now Ernst & Young LLP.

Mr. Maday earned a BBA from the University of Notre Dame. He is a certified public accountant.
