Santina Rocca

Santina Rocca is deputy director in the Division of Registration and Inspections. She leads the office of the director and is an advisor to the director. Since joining the PCAOB in 2005, Ms. Rocca has worked on inspections of all types of firms — large and small, domestic and international.

Before being named deputy director in 2011, Ms. Rocca spent three years as associate director in the national office, dealing primarily with the international firm inspection program. From 2006 to 2011, she was the small firm regional coordinator for the western region, focusing on domestic inspections for firms that are now included in the Non-Affiliate Firm Inspection Program.

Prior to joining the PCAOB, Ms. Rocca worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in San Francisco and Hong Kong. Earlier, she worked as a manager developing accounting standards at the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. Rocca began her auditing career with Ernst & Young Canada (formerly Clarkson Gordon).

She holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, and an MBA from ESSEC Business School in Paris. Ms. Rocca is a Canadian chartered professional accountant, a chartered accountant, and a certified public accountant (California).
