PCAOB Announces 2018 Forums on Auditing in the Small Business Environment and on Auditing Broker-Dealers

Washington, DC, Apr. 10, 2018

The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board today announced the 2018 Forums on Auditing in the Small Business Environment and Forums for Auditors of Broker-Dealers.

"These forums remain an important part of the Board's outreach," said William D. Duhnke, PCAOB Chairman. "Firms are encouraged to take advantage of these live and online educational opportunities to receive updates from the PCAOB and discuss challenges and issues they face."

Forums are live meetings and are open to members of PCAOB-registered firms that audit public companies or broker-dealers. Attendees have the opportunity to earn continuing professional education credits. There is no fee to attend, but advance registration is required, and space may be limited.

Attendees are encouraged to submit questions in advance via email or the online registration form.
