Evan Lee is the PCAOB's Acting Chief Information Officer. In this role, Mr. Lee advances and enhances the PCAOB’s information technology and data management strategies while accelerating digital transformation efforts.
Before being named Acting Chief Information Officer, Mr. Lee served as the Deputy Director, Architecture and Engineering, in the PCAOB’s Office of Data, Security, and Technology.
Prior to joining the PCAOB in 2022, Mr. Lee was the Chief Technology Officer at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Inspector General (OIG). In that role, he was responsible for advancing OIG’s mission of protecting beneficiaries by implementing advanced technology, analytics, and machine learning to fight against healthcare fraud. Mr. Lee also led large technology modernization programs for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
In addition to his government service, Mr. Lee has served in a variety of senior technology leadership roles at companies in the private sector. He holds a Master of Science degree in information technology management, and a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science.
