Katherine S. Driscoll
Special Counsel to Acting Chairperson Duane M. DesParte
Katherine S. Driscoll is special counsel to Acting Chairperson Duane M. DesParte and advises him on all matters that come before the board.
Ms. Driscoll joined the PCAOB in 2018 as special counsel to former Board member James G. Kaiser and, most recently, was a Senior Associate General Counsel in the PCAOB’s Office of General Counsel.
Before coming to the PCAOB, Ms. Driscoll spent 10 years at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, where she served in a number of capacities, including as associate chief counsel in the Division of Swap Dealer & Intermediary Oversight. Ms. Driscoll also served as counsel to the CFTC Chair, advising on key matters before the CFTC. Before moving into these policy roles, she was a senior trial attorney in the Division of Enforcement.
Before joining the CFTC, Ms. Driscoll practiced commercial litigation at Milbank LLP and Seward & Kissel LLP. She received a B.A. from Hamilton College and a J.D. from Fordham Law School.
