Liza McAndrew Moberg


Office of International Affairs

Liza McAndrew Moberg is the director of the Office of International Affairs. She leads the PCAOB's efforts to negotiate and implement cooperative arrangements with non-U.S. auditor oversight bodies and represents the PCAOB internationally. 

Ms. McAndrew Moberg joined the PCAOB in 2013 as senior adviser to the director of the Office of International Affairs. She is active in the PCAOB's participation in the International Forum of Independent Audit Regulators and leads a task force conducting IFIAR's annual global survey of audit inspection findings.

Ms. McAndrew Moberg previously was counsel to the director and senior adviser in the Securities and Exchange Commission's Office of International Affairs. She joined the Commission staff as a professional accounting fellow in the Office of the Chief Accountant's International Affairs group in July 2007.

Earlier, Ms. McAndrew Moberg was a senior manager in PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP's national office. She began her career in PwC's Silicon Valley audit practice and later spent four years on an international assignment.

Ms. McAndrew Moberg earned a B.A. in Spanish with a second major in accounting from Santa Clara University. She is a certified public accountant in California.
