Jayme Herschkopf is Board Counsel to Board Member George R. Botic and advises him on all matters that come before the Board.

Prior to her current role, Ms. Herschkopf served as Assistant General Counsel in the PCAOB’s Office of the General Counsel, where she advised on enforcement, rulemaking, standard setting, and other matters. She joined the PCAOB from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)’s Office of the General Counsel, where she spent over five years working on legal policy and adjudication matters. She was the SEC’s 2020 recipient of the Manuel F. Cohen Award, recognizing outstanding legal ability and performance. Ms. Herschkopf began her career in public service as a judicial clerk, and later served as a fellow for the U.S. Supreme Court. She also gained significant experience in securities and other complex commercial litigation while practicing at an international law firm.

Ms. Herschkopf received an A.B. from Harvard College, a J.D. from Yale Law School, and an M.Litt. in English from the University of St. Andrews.
