Connor Raso

Connor Raso is Acting Deputy General Counsel at the PCAOB.  In this role, he counsels the Board on PCAOB programs and operations and assists with management of the Office of the General Counsel.

Prior to joining the PCAOB, Mr. Raso worked in various roles with the Securities and Exchange Commission and represented the Commission before the Administrative Conference of the United States.  Earlier in his career, he served as an attorney-advisor at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and clerked on the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.  

Mr. Raso serves as a regulator contributor to the Brookings Institution’s Series on Regulatory Process and is an active member of the American Law Institute.  He holds a J.D. from Yale Law School, a Ph.D. from Stanford University’s Department of Political Science, and a B.S.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis, where he was a Fulbright Scholar.
