Before joining the PCAOB in June 2024, Ms. Richardson practiced corporate, venture capital, and securities law at both private and publicly traded corporations and in private practice at a law firm in Washington, DC. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Richardson was a Certified Public Accountant in Texas, auditing corporations and advising clients on state and local tax matters. 

Ms. Richardson holds a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law, an MBA from the Boston University Graduate School of Management, and an A.B. in Mathematics modified with Economics from Dartmouth College.
