Kent Bonham is the Director of the Office of Communications and Engagement (OCE), which leads the PCAOB’s communications, government affairs, and outreach efforts.
From 2007 to 2022, Mr. Bonham served as OCE’s Deputy Director, overseeing PCAOB relations with the U.S. Congress, as well as various federal and state government agencies. He has also overseen the PCAOB Scholars Program, the PCAOB forums, and other outreach events. He was named OCE’s Acting Director in April 2022, holding that role until his appointment as Director in September 2022.
Mr. Bonham joined the PCAOB after six years with Clark & Weinstock, Inc. Earlier, he served as Deputy Chief of Staff and Legislative Director to Senator Chuck Hagel of Nebraska.
A Nebraska native, Mr. Bonham received a B.A. from Colby College and an MBA from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business.
