Ashley Lewis

Ashley Lewis the Deputy Director of Communications in the Office of Communications and Engagement.

In this role, she is responsible for PCAOB’s external communications functions. Prior to joining the PCAOB, Ms. Lewis was a Senior Vice President at Edelman and Edelman Smithfield, the world’s largest and leading public relations firm, where she advised financial institutions and corporate clients on strategic communications and reputation management. Prior to Edelman, she served as Communication Director for the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs. She also served as Senior Communication Advisor to the Board at the Export-Import Bank of the United States. Early in her career, worked in various roles, in both public and private sectors with particular focus on financial services, workforce, and trade.

Ms. Lewis earned her BA in mass media communication and public relations from Michigan State University. She is currently an MBA candidate at the Yale School of Management.
