Ashley M. Lewis

Ashley Lewis is the Deputy Director, Communications of the Office of Communications and Engagement, which leads the PCAOB’s communications, government affairs, and outreach efforts.

Before joining the PCAOB, Ms. Lewis was a Senior Vice President at Edelman, a global public relations agency where she specialized in financial services communications. Previously, she served as Communication Director for the United States Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs. In this role, Ms. Lewis oversaw communication strategy, messaging, and outreach as it related to key policy and regulatory proposals and initiatives before the committee and Congress. She also served as Senior Communication Advisor to the Chairman at the Export-Import Bank of the United States. Prior to EXIM Bank, Ms. Lewis had previous communications roles on campaigns, trade associations, and U.S. House of Representatives.

Ms. Lewis graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in mass media communication and public relations from Michigan State University.
