Evann Berry is the Deputy Director of Engagement in the Office of Communications and Engagement (OCE). In this role, she is responsible for engaging with key stakeholders, including financial statement preparers and audit committee members, to communicate PCAOB activities and gather insights, and overseeing OCE’s other engagement efforts.

Before joining the PCAOB, Ms. Berry was a Vice President at Edelman Smithfield, where she led communications and public affairs strategies for public and private financial companies. She previously served as Senior Advisor for Communications and Engagement to former Chairman Rodney Hood at the National Credit Union Administration. Ms. Berry also held several policy and communications roles for former Senate Appropriations Chairman Thad Cochran and Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith of Mississippi.

Ms. Berry holds a B.S. in biological engineering from Mississippi State University.
