Genae Richardson

Genae Richardson is Deputy General Counsel at the PCAOB. In this role, Ms. Richardson counsels the Board on PCAOB programs and operations and assists with the management of the Office of the General Counsel. 

Before joining the PCAOB in June 2024, Ms. Richardson practiced corporate, venture capital, and securities law at both private and publicly traded corporations and in private practice at a law firm in Washington, DC. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Richardson was a Certified Public Accountant in Texas, auditing corporations and advising clients on state and local tax matters. 

Ms. Richardson holds a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law, an MBA from the Boston University Graduate School of Management, and an A.B. in Mathematics modified with Economics from Dartmouth College.
