Kent Bonham is the Acting Director of the Office of External Affairs (OEA), which leads the PCAOB’s communications, government affairs, and outreach efforts.

Since 2007, Mr. Bonham has served as OEA’s Deputy Director, overseeing PCAOB relations with the U.S. Congress, as well as various federal and state government agencies. He has also overseen the PCAOB Scholars Program, the PCAOB forums, and other outreach events.

Mr. Bonham joined the PCAOB after six years with Clark & Weinstock, Inc., a corporate advisory, lobbying, and consulting firm in Washington. Earlier, he served as Deputy Chief of Staff and Legislative Director to Senator Chuck Hagel of Nebraska, a member of the Senate Banking Committee.

Mr. Bonham received a B.A. from Colby College and an MBA from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business.
