Tan Cross

Tan Cross is the PCAOB’s Deputy Chief Operating Officer. She supports and serves as back up to the Chief Operating Officer and is also responsible for providing real estate management, facility operations, event planning and management, safety, security and emergency services, and administrative office support.

Ms. Cross joined the PCAOB in 2015 from The City of Alexandria, VA, where she served as the Deputy Director of Facilities, Construction, and Planning, in the Department of General Services where she directed and led a team of professionals in the day-to-day facilities planning, management, and maintenance operations of over one hundred City of Alexandria leased and owned structures. Prior to joining the City of Alexandria, Ms. Cross served in various facilities management and construction service roles for the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps as a U.S. Naval Officer, where she retired after 20 years of service.

 Ms. Cross earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Clemson University in Clemson, SC, and a M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland in College Park, MD, and she is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Maryland.
