At November 16 Open Meeting, PCAOB to Consider 2024 Budget

Washington, DC, Nov. 9, 2023

The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) will hold an open meeting at 10:00 a.m. ET on Thursday, November 16, 2023. At the meeting, the Board will consider the adoption of the PCAOB budget for the 2024 fiscal year.

The PCAOB’s 2022-2026 strategic plan, approved by the Board last year, guides the development of the organization’s budget. The Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 requires the PCAOB to establish a budget for each fiscal year (which for the PCAOB is the calendar year) no later than one month prior to the commencement of that fiscal year. If approved by the Board, the budget will be submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for approval, as required by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

The public may join the meeting in watch-only or listen-only mode using the following information.
