Chief Administrative Officer Suzanne Kinzer to Leave the PCAOB
The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board today announced that the Chief Administrative Officer, Suzanne Kinzer, will leave the PCAOB after nearly 16 years of service.
"Suzanne has ably led the Office of Administration and accomplished the key priorities she set out to achieve when she took on the role more than five years ago," said Chairman William D. Duhnke. "We are grateful for Suzanne's sound advice and guidance, and we wish her the very best in her next chapter."
Ms. Kinzer, one of the PCAOB's first professional staff, joined the PCAOB as an associate director in the Division of Registration and Inspections in October 2003, soon after the PCAOB commenced operations. She played a key role in establishing and shaping the division, where she rose to deputy director. In this capacity, she served as a Washington D.C. regional leader, and led the operations team and oversaw resource management, budgeting, hiring, and training for the division.
In December 2013, she was named the Chief Administrative Officer and Director of the Office of Administration, where she provided executive oversight to the Office of Human Resources, the Office of Finance, the Budget Office, and the Facilities department. Under her leadership, Ms. Kinzer worked with her team to drive operational improvements – including leveraging technology and new platforms – in numerous areas, including budgeting and financial management, compensation and reward structures, learning and leadership development, and facilities management.
"The PCAOB is comprised of immensely talented professionals, and it has been an honor to work with them and the Board throughout the past sixteen years," said Ms. Kinzer. "I'm proud of the work we've been able to accomplish, and I am confident that the Office of Administration will continue to play a critical role in supporting the Board as it advances its strategic plan."
Before joining the PCAOB, Ms. Kinzer was a partner at KPMG LLP.
