Following SEC Approval, PCAOB Posts Estimates & Specialists Implementation Pages
Today the PCAOB posted to its website two implementation pages for recent standard-setting activities—one for the new estimates standard and one for amendments on the auditor’s use of the work of specialists. These pages serve as a resource for auditors and other interested parties and include information such as fact sheets, rulemaking dockets, and PCAOB and SEC releases.
The PCAOB is committed to providing proactive, timely, and useful information prior to the effective dates of the new requirements. These implementation pages will be updated with additional resources in the future.
