PCAOB to Consider Proposing Audit Standard on Confirmation

The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board has scheduled an Open Meeting for Tuesday, July 13, at 9:30 a.m., to consider a proposed audit standard on confirmation. The new standard would supersede the current PCAOB standard, AU sec. 330, The Confirmation Process.

The meeting is open to the public and will take place in the PCAOB meeting room at 1666 K St. N.W., Washington, D.C. It also will be Webcast via a link on the PCAOB Web site, and available via podcast later in the day.
