Farewell and Gratitude to Board Member Duane DesParte

In case this is our last Open Meeting before October 24th, I want to take this opportunity to publicly thank my friend and colleague Board Member DesParte for his service on the Board. I have had the privilege to work with Duane for the past two years, initially in his capacity as Acting Chair and then as a fellow Board Member. Professionally, I value his deep expertise and unwavering commitment to the PCAOB’s mission. Personally, I admire his kindness, poise, and leadership strength. His contributions to the PCAOB and our mission of investor protection is unquestionable and will endure, especially when he guided this organization through some of the tumultuous times in 2021. Duane - I will miss you and I wish you well in your future endeavors.
